GENERAL STORAGE
How does your service work?
The UPS Store storage customers have two options for getting items into storage – they can either bring their items to The UPS Store, or they can arrange for a pickup. You can bring a few as one items or as many as you like. The only caveat to the storage service is that the item or items that you are storing, must either already be placed in a corrugated box or be able to be boxed by The UPS Store.
Will you pack my stuff?
Yes we will pack your items. You can either bring them into The UPS Store or we will come to your location to pick up your items and pack them here at the store.
Can I store my computer?
Yes. Our storage facility is climate controlled, which is perfectly safe for all your electronic equipment. If you no longer have the boxes, you may use our boxes with plenty of packing materials for extra cushioning.
What does climate-controlled mean?
Climate-controlled means that our storage facility maintains a safe temperature for your belongings and that the facility is properly ventilated in the summer months.
Can I store my furniture?
Yes, as long as it is either in a corrugated box or can be packed in a corrugated box by The UPS Store.
Do you have restrictions on the types of things that can be stored?
Yes. Hazardous materials, liquids, jewelry, cash, and valuables cannot be stored. All packages must be packed appropriately and in accordance with our Packing Tips.
Do you offer extended storage?
Yes. We can meet your long-term storage needs. Whether you are going away for a semester or want to store for a whole year, we can arrange storage. We charge our regular full-service storage prices for each semester that the items are stored beyond the summer.
Can I access my belongings during the summer?
Yes. Access is possible with 24 hour notice. Once you have notified us, we will bring your requested item to The UPS Store. Because this involves additional labor, there is an extra fee to arrange this service. Please call for a price quote.
How Do I Get My Things Back?
When you leave your items with us for storage, we will ask you when you plan on picking them back up. The date you provide us with is the date that your items will be back in our store. If you want them earlier, or later, simply call us and we will accommodate the newest dates.
BOXES AND SUPPLIES
What is the size of your boxes?
We will be supplying boxes of various sizes to accommodate computers, stereos, televisions, and other common items.
PICKUP AND DELIVERY
Do you pickup directly at my door?
Yes. You are responsible for making the necessary arrangements with dormitory security or resident advisors. But we will come to your door to pickup your shipping and storage items. We'll make sure your boxes are properly labeled, and we'll complete the necessary paperwork. If your items are already boxes and packed. The process should take no longer than 5 to 10 minutes.
I live off-campus. Can you pick up and deliver my things?
Yes. The UPS Store can pickup from and deliver to off-campus locations .
PRICING & PAYMENT
How much do your services cost?
Our prices are set on a per item basis. Please call for a free price quote.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa cards only. Credit cards are required for any storage service.
